This is a rematch of a game that the Eagles won 42-23 on September 15th. However, the Pirates have come a long way since then, having won their last six games.
The Pirates have a balanced offense, averaging 30.1 points per game. They are led by senior quarterback Brady Carlton, who has thrown for over 2,000 yards and 20 touchdowns this season. Carlton is also a threat on the ground, rushing for over 400 yards and 7 touchdowns.
The Eagles have a high-powered offense, averaging 44.0 points per game. They are led by senior running back Landyn Collins, who has rushed for over 1,000 yards and 15 touchdowns this season. The Eagles also have a solid passing attack, led by senior quarterback Gabe Johnson.
Both defenses are playing at a high level, with Platte County allowing just 22.3 points per game and Grain Valley allowing just 19.7 points per game.
This is sure to be a close game between two evenly matched teams. The Pirates will need to find a way to slow down the Eagles’ running game and force turnovers. The Eagles will need to protect the football and capitalize on their scoring opportunities.

Both teams are evenly matched, but I am giving the edge to Grain Valley due to their home field advantage and their head-to-head win earlier in the season. I predict that the Eagles will win a close game, 35-31.
