Diddy: Sean Combs, denounced by two men who accuse him of sexually abusing them when they were 10 and 17 years old

Attorney Tony Buzbee made a threat a couple of weeks ago and it seems he has every intention of following through: there would be weekly complaints against Sean Combs. And this Monday —a week after the last— the rapper, known as Puff Daddy or Diddy, has received two more, and very serious ones. Two men, now approximately 29 and 33 years old, accuse the rapper of sexually abusing them and, in the case of the first, of raping him, two decades ago, when they were minors and were only 10 and 17 years old. respectively. With these two demands, Combs accumulates around 135, all of them with similar components: harassment, sexual abuse and, in many cases, rape. The musician and businessman is in jail awaiting trial accused of sex trafficking, illicit association and transportation for prostitution.

Both complaints have been filed in the Supreme Court of New York and anonymously. The first is by a man who was just a 10-year-old boy when, according to his version, he was drugged and raped by Combs in a New York hotel room in 2005. According to him, he was an aspiring actor and rapper. who traveled to said city from Los Angeles, California, accompanied by his parents, to hold meetings with executives from the world of music. According to the young man’s complaint, Combs, founder of the record company, asked the family to have a meeting with the boy alone. In said room, he encouraged him to perform several songs and assured him that he could “make him a star,” according to the lawsuit. “The complainant, like any 10-year-old child, told him that he would do anything,” reads the legal text. Afterwards, someone from his team gave the boy a soft drink after which he felt “a little strange.” Then Combs asked him to come closer, pushed him and said, “Sometimes you’re going to have to do things you don’t always want to do.” Afterwards he became semi-conscious and woke up in pain; He alleges that both he and one of his partners raped him. When she cried and asked to see her parents, Combs threatened that if she told anything, he would hurt her parents.

The second man explained that he was 17 years old when, in 2008, he participated in the tests for three days. foundry for a talent television show called Making the band. The musician and event organizer groped him while “emphasizing his power to control the plaintiff’s future in the music industry”; On a second day, he encouraged him “to demonstrate his ability to be a sex symbol“which seemed to be a requirement for the band’s image.” Then, he explains, Combs forced him to perform oral sex on him. On the third day, he forced one of his bodyguards to perform it; When he raised his voice to question these practices, he was eliminated from the contest. Afterwards, he was unable to re-enter the music industry for seven years. Precisely another of the complainants, the singer Dawn Richard, was another of the participants in that same contest.. She, a member of the musical group Danity Kane, accused Combs of 21 crimes in mid-September, explaining that he was a boss who abused physical and verbal violence, who forced her to undress to sing or who deprived her of sleep and food.

These are not the first child abuse lawsuits. Tony Buzbee presented more than 120 people for rape and sexual abuse on October 1, and there were already around 25 minors there, among others, a nine-year-old boy. Furthermore, on October 21, a woman accused him of raping her in 2000, when she was 13 years old. Sean Combs’ lawyers, as usual, have denied both and accuse lawyer Buzbee of seeking publicity. Meanwhile, Combs waits in a Brooklyn jailn, New York, to the trial, which is scheduled for May 5, 2025. The judge has denied him conditional release, even on bail.

The first lawsuit against Combs came a year ago by his ex-girlfriend, the singer Cassie, who accused him of rape, abuse and mistreatment. The artist reached an out-of-court settlement a day later and decided to withdraw itBut that opened the door so that, first with a trickle and then in a torrential way, complaints have continued to arrive against the three-time Grammy winner, with an estimated fortune of between 600 and 1,000 million dollars. Now he may face a prison sentence that would keep him in jail for the rest of his life.
