The person in charge of the restaurant was already being investigated by the police for drug matters since last March. In a previous search of his home, the detainee “threw a backpack filled with 1.6 kilograms of cocaine through the window, directly into the arms of the investigators,” the Rhineland Post. In addition to this drug, the investigators seized some 270,000 euros in cash and 400 grams of cannabis, which were in the possession of the investigated person, but at that time, they could not arrest him, according to the aforementioned media.
