Xuxa Meneghel is among the guests of Telethon 2024, which will take place on November 8th and 9th at SBT. The presenter will have a special mission: to close the charity marathon alongside Patricia Abravanel. The traditional program, which collects donations for AACD (Association for Assistance to Disabled Children), must also pay tribute to Silvio Santos (1930-2004).

The information comes from columnist Flávio Ricco, from Portal Leo Dias. This year’s goal is to reach R$35 million in fundraising. As in previous editions, the special will highlight the spirit of collaboration. In addition to the massive presence of the SBT cast, several artists and collaborators from other broadcasters often appear on stage.

Owner of the station, Silvio Santos has always been Teleton’s main supporter — despite not having attended the program in recent years. The last time the communicator participated in the solidarity marathon was in 2018.

Renato Aragão has also confirmed his presence at Telethon 2024. Even though hired by Globo, Eliana Michaelichen will be in the special organized by the former broadcaster. She has participated in the charity event for 26 years, since its debut on television, and became godmother of the campaign in 2013 – a position she inherited from Have a Camargo (1929-2012).

To the TV Newsthe blonde had already explained the reason for not leaving her legacy at Teleton behind: “My commitment to Teleton and AACD will remain firm and strong, even after the end of my career at SBT.”

Just like your friend, Xuxa also has a contract with Globo. The presenter will lead a panel to encourage adoption on Sundays, at Fantastic.

Despite having left SBT in 2020, Maisa Silva also maintains her commitment to returning to the broadcaster for the Telethon. The actress, who will make her debut on Globo in the soap opera Girl of the Momentis the digital godmother of the charity marathon.
