He said he made a “pact” with his partner that she would return to her family alive. The procedure took twice as long as expected. “The tumor was rooted inside her,” he reported.

“We made a deal: ‘Let’s agree on one thing, you’ll come back. That’s it’. The surgery was scheduled to last three hours, but ended up taking eight. God is good, because he allows what is necessary”, said the artist , in conversation with the journalist Roberto Cabrini.

According to Faro, he cried a lot when he discovered the problem of health of the woman. “Several times I thought: ‘Vera didn’t deserve this’. Several times I asked myself why it didn’t happen to me, but to her”, he declared.

Faith is rational, it is the certainty that we have to rest everything in God. Vera is now cured of cancer. The tumor was removed with a safety margin of 5 millimeters, which is a lot. The vein reconstruction was an absolute success. You have to monitor it, the big concern is thrombosis.

According to the presenter, he even received messages from other countries, such as Angola and Mozambique. “From all over the world, I didn’t imagine that we would receive so much affection, so many prayers”, he concluded.

What happened to Vera Viel?

Vera Viel was hospitalized on Saturday (5) after discovering a nodule on her leg. The presenter was admitted to a hospital in São Paulo, initially to undergo a biopsy. She posted on social media to ask for prayers and said she was confident.

“We have already placed it in God’s hands, we are here in prayer. God willing, it will be a benign nodule. I will have the surgery and everything will be fine”, wrote Vera on Instagramaccompanied by Rodrigo Faro.

The influencer said that she had felt the presence of a lump on her thigh two weeks ago and decided to see doctors after the presenter’s insistence. Vera Viel was discharged on Monday (7), but had to return to the hospital due to surgery.
