Advisor in six seasons of The Apprentice (2004-2019), Walter Longo will reinforce the team Times Brasil CNBC. The news channel, which arrives in Brazil in November, announced this Monday morning (21) that the administrator will give tips on business and careers in prime time.
In a press release, the broadcaster highlights that the original format was shown in the United States by NBC, the parent company of CNBC. “Walter Longe stood out as an admired advisor, both by participants and the public”, says the note.
“On CNBC in Brazil, Walter Longo will present a prime-time program about business ideas, strategies and insights for viewers who are inspired by great business leaders, who run or dream of running their own business or who want to be inspired to grow career”, he adds.
Journalists Christiane Pelajo, Fabio Turci, Marcelo Torres, Natália Ariede, Rafael Ihara, Renan de Souza have also been announced by Times Brasil CNBC. The entertainment and business team includes Camila Farani and Marcus Buaiz.
Who is Walter Longo?
Walter Longo is an advertiser and administrator, acting as a mentor for several companies in the Communication sector, such as the Newcomm Group. He is considered one of the main experts in the area in the country, sharing the panel of advisors for O Aprendiz with names such as Edison Henriques Jr., Vivianne Brafmann, Fernando Gameleira and Cláudio Forner.
When does Times Brasil CNBC debut?
The Brazilian operation promises to bring an unprecedented format of journalism channel in the country. It will not be like the North American original, which has been on air since 1989 and has programming exclusively about economics and business.
