In a recent interview with Spectacular SundayVera claimed to have had a moment of encounter with God during his rare cancer surgery.

The blogger spent eight hours in the hands of doctors. “Why did this all happen on the eve of my birthday? God chose that day because I would be reborn”, he recalled.

In conversation with Roberto Cabrinishe said that the discovery of synovial sarcoma was a blessing for the whole family. She and Faro are parents to Clara, 19 years old; Maria, 16 years old; and Helena, 11 years old.
