The influencer Mariana Bridi spoke out for the first time about her relationship with her ex, Rafael Cardoso. She told her followers why the heartthrob is prohibited from seeing his childrenAurora and Valentim, and gave some details about the cases against the ex-Globo player that are pending in court.

She began the text, published on her official Instagram profile, with a question: “why would the court prevent a father from seeing his children in person?”

“This is a question that is rarely asked, because, as a society, we have been taught to automatically question and judge a woman’s decisions, without paying attention to what is really behind such serious measures,” he noted.

The influencer stated that she preferred to keep matters private, but had no other choice given the criticism and attacks she suffered daily. “When a woman chooses to remain silent, she is often harshly criticized. And there comes a time when it becomes impossible not to speak,” she added.

Unfortunately, it is very common for women to experience situations of emotional and psychological violence that, over time, end up being normalized. The lack of clear parameters and the weight of social expectations make us believe that we must maintain a stable image, even at the expense of our own well-being.

Mari reported that, given what she suffered with her ex-husband, she asked for protective measures to also keep her children safe. “The decision to separate and seek protective measures was not easy, but it was necessary to ensure the safety and well-being of my children and myself. These measures were never intended to separate father and children, but to protect them” , he stated.

“For more than a year, two separate legal processes have been underway, both under judicial secrecy: one in the family court and the other in the Domestic and Family Violence Against Women Court. These processes are essential and, by law, must remain in secrecy, something that has always been a priority for me, aiming to preserve all parties involved, especially my children”, he added.

Cardoso’s ex-wife detailed that custody of the children is entirely with her by court decision, and he can contact the children whenever he wants — but not in person.

“In the criminal sphere, there is a protective measure in force that must be respected to guarantee my physical and mental safety. I have followed all legal determinations rigorously, respecting each stage of the process to ensure that it occurs as expected, and that a fair decision and definitive is achieved”, he continued.

“When the father of my children meets the requirements established by the courts, he will have the right to see them in person. At the moment, he has the right to communicate with the children on a daily basis, although he does not always do so — a right that justice ensures. I know that many women go through this type of judgment, on and off the internet”, she concluded.

The actor’s defense, represented by lawyer Alexandro Ramalho, told Quem that the influencer’s publication will be taken to court to request action, since confidential processes cannot have information provided by any of the parties involved.
