Chapter summary

Mavi assures her that she will take revenge on Mercia, and tells Viola that they will have to cancel their wedding. Luma tries to calm Viola down. Mavi tells Nahum her secret and says he is being threatened by Mercia. Hugo tells the guests that the wedding has been postponed.

Mercia feels victorious. Rudá and Luma conclude that Mavi is being blackmailed by her mother. Viola tells Mavi that she doesn’t know if she still wants to marry him. The bailiff shows up at Michele’s house to serve the eviction order.

At Mavi’s command, Iberê tracks Mércia’s whereabouts. Moema shows Rudá that she distrusts Luma’s help. Mavi drugs Mércia with the help of Iberê, and admits her to a psychiatric clinic.
