Chapter summary for Tuesday, October 22nd: Jordão Nicácio (Alejandro Claveaux) will follow an order from Deodora (Debora Bloch) and will shoot his cousin Cícero (Haroldo Guimarães) in No Rancho Fundo.

The guy won’t see who will pull the trigger, so he won’t know who the criminal is. Cousin Cícero, however, will survive: the bullet will hit the reliquary that belonged to his late wife, Militana, and will not hit him seriously.

Ariosto denies stealing the Leonels’ money. Cousin Cícero signs a document confirming the purchase of the land by Seu Tico Leonel, and Caridade is proud of her father. Deodora thinks about manipulating Esperança, and Ariosto warns her.

Quinota and Arthur think about who could have stolen their family’s investments. Marcelo Gouveia pays Guilherme Tell for his service, without saying that it is smuggling.

Following Blandina’s plan, Esperança and Jordão Nicácio set up Cícero’s kidnapping. Zefa Leonel deduces that the Ariostos disappeared with their cousin. Charity is forced to leave the restaurant. Zefa Leonel confronts Deodora.
