Ana Maria Braga was excited to try a beautiful and simple-to-make dessert in More Youbut suffered a great disappointment. The reporter Juliane Massaoka I brought a recipe that basically covered some gossip with a mixture of milk, sugar and colorless gelatin, but the result wasn’t as tasty as expected. “It tastes like nothing else,” said the presenter.
In the Mais Você kitchen, they explained that the recipe was starting to go viral on the internet and was simpler than it seemed. “We went to try it, to see how the miracle happened. We first went to look for a container that could fit the tangerine, or bergamot, or murcote down in the south, or ponkan, mimosa, clove orange down in Recife… In this case , this is really gossip”, she joked.
The recipe basically involves peeling the fruit and piling it onto a barbecue stick. “Make a ‘skewer’ of bergamot, and hold the stick so it doesn’t escape”, said Ana, taking the opportunity to make a double-meaning joke.
For the outside, simply mix milk, sugar and colorless gelatin, leave it on the heat for a short time, and place it in a mold made from a plastic bottle. Then, you need to leave it in the fridge for 12 hours. To release, simply cut the plastic bottle, remove the dessert stick and cut it into slices.
Even though it seemed simple, Ana Maria had difficulty getting it out of the mold and ready. “Go cut your dick there, Ana Maria, be careful!”, he joked Louro Mané. “I suggest that the lady or gentleman who is watching me remove the seeds [da fruta] to make something more beautiful. Have you ever imagined serving seeds to your guest? It’s not cool,” she advised.
After she managed to finish the dessert, she praised the look, but was completely disappointed with the taste. “I’m going to say it, because it’s the truth: this thing here tastes like nothing else,” he complained. “I was going to swear, but I can’t,” he said.
“It’s like a mass, like… Nothing”, he explained. “The texture is also not [lá essas coisas]”, agreed Ju Massaoka. “The texture is hard!”, reinforced the presenter.
“If people tasted that, would it work, Ana Maria?” asked Louro Mané. “So, I’m imagining adding a flavor here. Like those juice-making things… It’ll be yellow, it won’t be as pretty as yellow on white, but…”, analyzed the veteran of Globo.
Ju Massaoka came up with the idea of adding condensed milk to the recipe, and Ana Maria thought it might work. “It’s a good idea, I personally love it, I love it, I want it!”, pondered the morning mascot.
“I’m already thinking that peeling the bergamots under the tree and eating them is better,” said the reporter. “Yeah, guys… There won’t be a dog, guys, I’m sorry”, lamented Louro. “We’re going to improve this recipe here and we’ll come back with it, okay?”, assured the presenter.
