Eliana Michaelichen officially left the grid SBT at the end of June, but will return to the schedule with a prominent position in Telethon 2024, which takes place on November 8th and 9th. Godmother of the charity campaign since 2013, she will be responsible for opening the live television marathon on Friday night.

Already Xuxa Meneghel will close the event alongside Patricia Abravanel –who will act as his father, Silvio Santos (1930-2024), and will receive checks with million-dollar donations from large companies in the final stretch of fundraising.

This year’s goal is R$35 million, the same as last year. The amount will be used to cover part of the costs of SUS (Unified Health System) care for people with physical disabilities in AACD (Association for Assistance to Disabled Children) units distributed throughout Brazil.

This Tuesday (29), SBT promoted an event to present Telethon 2024 to the press. Eliana was not present because she records the Tight Skirtdo GNTon Tuesdays, but sent a video to be shown.

“I wouldn’t be left out of Telethon 2024, right? Of course not! You can count on my presence, on my love, at this celebration of solidarity. Imagine, I’ve participated in the campaign since its first edition, in 1998. In other words, , there are 26 years of history, supporting and celebrating this important and necessary work of AACD”, he said.

Renato Aragão, Fátima Bernardes, Ana Furtado, Carlos Tramontina, Dani Calabresa, João Guilherme and Nadja Haddad are also confirmed.
