After stints at Globo and Warner, executive Mônica Albuquerque was announced as one of the reinforcements of Telemundo. She will lead the development of the station’s content, aimed at Hispanic audiences in the United States, both on open TV and streaming platforms.

The information was confirmed by Telemundo itself in a press release this Thursday (24). She will take on the role of senior vice president of content and development at Telemundo Studios.

The professional will report directly to the executive vice-president, Javier Pons, who was executive producer of series such as O Bom Patrão (2021) and O Ministério do Tempo (2015).

“Mônica is an exceptional media executive with a remarkable ability to identify and develop engaging content. Her extensive experience in Spanish-language media, combined with her artistic vision and strategic insight, make her the ideal person to elevate Telemundo Studios’ offerings” , says Pons.
