Clarice (Carol Castro) will lose his memory, but not his sense of justice in Girl of the Momenta soap opera that premieres next Monday (4) in place of No Rancho Fundo in the programming of Globo. Beatriz’s mother (Doubt Santos) disappeared in 1942, when he traveled to Rio de Janeiro to try to place his paintings in an exhibition. The girl will grow up without her parents and will be raised by her paternal grandmother, Carmem (Solange Couto).

Beatriz’s father will only be shown in photos, but the three women will talk about the tragedy that took his life. Black, mathematics teacher and family provider, he was killed after being mistaken for a criminal. In this way, the author Alessandra Poggi will insert a dose of reality and current affairs into the period plot.

“I was able to create this one before Clarice, in 1942, with little Beatriz, and then jumping to 1958, when they transformed her into another woman, practically. But what I find interesting about Clarice is that, despite her having lost her memory , she hasn’t lost her essence. She has a very strong sense of justice”, says Carol.
