Iris Alves caught attention in the 2000s with her spontaneity on the stage Raul Gil Programat the time still shown by Record. Away from TV for 20 years, the young woman is studying Medicine abroad — but has not ruled out the possibility of returning to the spotlight.

Iris gave an interview to Domingo Record this Sunday (27). Reporter Lorena Coutinho took her back to the theater where the Children’s Show was recorded.

“It’s an incredible feeling to be here again, it feels like I’m on the stage of Raul Gil. We dominated the stage, we couldn’t sit still”, she said, sharing the presenter’s attention with Maisa Silva.

The reporter asked if they followed a script at the time. “There was nothing. I barely knew what I was going to dance, sometimes I would rehearse a joke so I wouldn’t forget. We would do whatever we wanted”, he recalled.

She also mentioned that she started on the program shortly after Maisa, who was an inspiration at the time. She also said that she was very recognized on the streets as a child. “I couldn’t go to the market”, he said.

Lorena simulated a famous painting by Raul Gil and asked who the young woman was taking her hat off to. The first name was Raul Gil Jr, son of the presenter.

“Absolutely. I have a very fresh memory of him, he was always there by Raul Gil’s side. He was wonderful, loving, he took care of us”, praised the girl. The director then sent her a message: “Iris captivated all the adults in the recording.”

The second hat bore Maisa’s name. “100%, for sure. Maisa is a diva. Everyone has followed her her entire life. It was a privilege to work with her for years”, valued Iris.

The reporter asked if there was a fight between them. “No, never. Children don’t feel bad, they don’t feel jealous”, commented the young woman, who admitted that she lost contact with the actress. “She followed her path, and I followed mine,” he said.

Iris Alves then said that she moved to Bolivia to study Medicine. She wants to be a surgeon, but would also like to return to the artistic world. “Waiting for opportunities. I would return to the media”, he assured.
