Victim had to be taken by helicopter to hospital

A 50-year-old woman was stabbed and is in serious condition after arguing with a 25-year-old co-worker over cleaning the place. The case happened in Pedro Leopoldo, Metropolitan Region of Belo Horizonte, this Saturday (26).

According to the Military Police, a witness reported that the two began to fight when they could not agree on who would clean the bakery where they work. During the argument, the young woman became very nervous and began shouting threatening phrases against the woman who is twice her age.

The owner of the establishment warned the two employees because of the fight. The young woman then left the place, went to a bar and took a knife. She returned to the bakery and stabbed the victim. Soon after, the suspect fled.

The victim was found by the police with several puncture wounds on his body. She was taken to an Emergency Care Unit (UPA) and was then transferred by Federal Highway Police helicopter to a hospital due to the severity of her injuries.

The police were informed that the suspect had fled on the back of a motorcycle. The motorcycle was located and the owner reported that she only gave the young woman a ride, but that she did not know that she had stabbed a colleague. Then he told where the suspect was.

The military found the woman at the address mentioned. She was walking on the street and confessed to the police that she stabbed the victim after receiving orders from the woman to perform duties contrary to those given by her boss.

The suspect was arrested and the owner of the motorcycle was taken to a police station.
