With Argentina in the lead, FIFA releases national team rankings; Brazil occupies 5th place
France and Spain complete the top 3, while Portugal overtook the Netherlands

FIFA released this Thursday (24) the ranking of teams that points to Argentina as the best ranked team. Owner of 1st place with 1,883.50, the current world champions have remained at the top after winning the Copa América, played in the United States, and leading the South American Qualifiers alone. In the list update, Brazil appears in 5th with 1,784.37.
The French team and Spain, which won the European Championship in the middle of the year, complete the top three places. The relationship did not change from 1st to sixth place. England appears in fourth place, ahead of the Brazilian team and the Belgians come next, in sixth.
Among the ten best-ranked teams, the novelty was Portugal. Veteran star Cristiano Ronaldo’s team reached 7th place and left the Netherlands in 8th. Italy and Colombia close the Top-10 list.
