Most of André’s career was marked by victories. In 16 fights recorded in MMA, he won 11 and had only five defeats. The Bahian fought in Brazil, Mexico, the United States and Portugal, according to Sherdog, the largest martial arts platform in the world.

The fighter competed as a heavyweight from 2004 to 2010, when he had his last official fight. He also invested in a career as a businessman and owned a gym specializing in martial arts and bodybuilding in Salvador.

Mussi’s body will be buried in Salvador, however, there is no information about the location and date. The cause of death was not disclosed.
