Vice President Geraldo Alckmin voted this Sunday in the south zone of São Paulo. In a press interview, he said that he voted for candidate Guilherme Boulos (PSOL) for a “change”, adding that he ran a good campaign and is on a growth curve.
In the first round, Alckmin had declared support for Tabata Amaral (PSB). “I voted for change, like 70% of São Paulo residents. Now in the second round, I continue to support change. I voted for Boulos, 50. That’s the logic of the second round,” he stated.
The vice president stated that Boulos had a good campaign in the first round, which led to him being sent to the second round. “He also had a good campaign in the second round, so much so that the difference narrowed. Boulos’s curve in the last 15 days was a growth curve. As he is on a growth curve, let’s wait for the polls”, he added.
