After removing a rare and malignant tumor from her left thigh, Vera Viel used her social networks to update her health status this Wednesday, 23rd. Rodrigo Faro’s wife is already in the recovery process and has started physiotherapy.
“Recovering here from surgery. I’ve already started physiotherapy and, soon, radiotherapy sessions. Complete cure”, wrote the digital influencer in her Instagram stories.
She also used her social networks to share the process of discovering the disease. Vera explained that she discovered the nodule on her leg in a Muay Thai class. “That’s why I ended up discovering the nodule, the impact formed a bruise inside.”
At the time, the tumor was already in his thigh, which meant that the classes helped discover the disease. “I had never heard of soft tissue synovial sarcoma, which is very rare. My recovery has been great because I have always trained and that helps a lot. We see God act when I suddenly become interested in taking a Muay Thai class, it was just a month of classes for me to feel the nodule”, he concluded.
