Preta Gil was on Domingão with Huck this Sunday (27) in the Batalha de Lipsync section, alongside Fabiana Karla. The singer and presenter received a standing ovation and spoke briefly about her cancer treatment.

“I’m here to receive this love and this energy, and I want to say that, yes, I’m fighting, and, yes, I’m going to win this one more,” he said.

Preta Gil appeared alongside Fabiana Karla in the scene in which the two performed “Sinais de Fogo”, one of their biggest hits. In the end, Preta was emotional and said: “Only you to get me out of the house”.

Luciano Huck was also moved, stating that Preta is part of his family. Praising Preta Gil, Huck said he loves the singer, while the audience echoed: “Warrior! Warrior!”

“I made a point of coming here because, at this moment, like me, thousands of people are undergoing cancer treatment, and we have to live while we heal, we have to value life. And when I found out that Fabiana was going to honor me on my best friend’s show, I got all dressed up. Yes, I’m fighting and I’m going to win,” said Preta Gil. She was diagnosed with bowel cancer and had to resume treatment in August, after a recurrence of the tumor.

“A woman who is powerful and warrior and who does not lack courage,” praised Fabiana.
