Registration closes until November 11th

The State University of Feira de Santana (Uefs) now has a master’s degree in administration. The course is part of the area of ​​Administration, Accounting Sciences and Tourism and is the first master’s degree in this area at state universities in Bahia. Linked to the Department of Applied Social Sciences (Dcis/Uefs), the academic master’s degree in the Postgraduate Program in “Management, Organizations and Society” was recently approved by Capes.

Registration for the first master’s class began on October 18th and runs until November 11th, through a link available on the University’s website. The selection includes objective evidence, draft and dialogued argument. The course will last 24 months with 16 places available. Classes are scheduled to start in February 2025.

The course is aimed at professionals with a full-term higher education diploma, interested in pursuing an academic career or who require specific training to develop, evaluate or implement socio-environmental and governance practices in public, private or third sector organizations. .

The teaching staff is made up of professors from the areas of Administration, Accounting Sciences, Law and Economics at Dcis/Uefs.

Professor Silvone Santa Bárbara da Silva, dean of Research and Postgraduate Studies at Uefs, celebrated the approval and stated that in addition to being the first stricto sensu program approved by Dcis, it is the first master’s degree in the area of ​​Administration in the interior of Bahia . “The importance of this course is indisputable, both due to the capillarity of the University’s postgraduate studies and the qualified participation of the teachers who make up the program”, he states.

The director of Dcis/Uefs Hélio Ponce Cunha also celebrated the achievement: “As it is the first master’s degree in the area of ​​Administration in the interior of Bahia, the result of work that began a long time ago, this course is a true gift for society of Feira de Santana and region”.
