Two men died during a confrontation with military police on Rua 7 de Abril, in the Liberdade neighborhood, in Salvador. The shooting took place last Sunday afternoon (27) and resulted in the seizure of weapons, drugs and ammunition that were presented to the Department of Homicide and Personal Protection (DHPP – Salvador).
According to the Military Police (PM), Apolo Battalion garrisons were patrolling the region when they were surprised by an armed group that shot at the police. There was a confrontation and two suspects were shot. They were taken to Ernesto Simões Hospital, but did not resist. The case was registered with the DHPP.
The action resulted in the seizure of a .40 caliber pistol with a magazine and 22 rounds of ammunition, a .38 caliber revolver, as well as eight rounds of ammunition of the same caliber, 51 portions of marijuana, 46 tubes of cocaine, seven rocks of cocaine, 174 rocks of crack. , two precision scales, two cell phones, a watch, two backpacks and a traffic notebook.
