Two vehicles were recovered by the Federal Highway Police (PRF) last Sunday (27), in Eunápolis, municipality of Bahia. Both cars were found at km 720 of BR-101.
The first car, a Renault/Duster, was ordered to stop by the police at around 9am. During the inspection, the officers found tampered identification elements, and noticed that the car used identification from another vehicle.
The original car had a report of theft registered in Salvador. According to the driver, the adulterated vehicle was purchased for R$35,000.00 without any information about the illicit origin.
The second vehicle, a white Fiat/Strada, was recovered at night, around 8pm. This one also had doctored identifications, and had apparently been cloned.

Both vehicles and drivers were taken to the local Civil Police Station for appropriate measures to be taken.
