The suspect of stabbing a passenger during an attempted robbery on a bus was arrested this Sunday morning (20), in the center of Salvador.
A motorcycle patrol team from the Tourist Support Group (GAT) of the Municipal Civil Guard was providing security at the “Run to Chile” racing event, on Rua Chile, when it was called by a man who had just witnessed the robbery of a collective that it was the Campo Grande x Ribeira line.
According to the witness, the suspect had inflicted several knife blows on one of the victims, who was seriously injured.
The Civil Guard team began the search based on the suspect’s characteristics and direction. He was located near the Quartel dos Aflitos. Upon noticing the team approaching, the suspect tried to get rid of a fish knife, which was seized.
The bus passenger who alerted the police about the crime was taken to the location where he recognized the suspect. Given the facts, everyone involved and the material seized
