More than 70 thousand students from the state education network in Bahia will be able to use the Salvador and Lauro de Freitas Metro System free of charge, on the days of the National High School Examination (Enem) 2024 (November 3 and 10). Free access to the subway, requested by the State Department of Education (SEC) from the State Department of Urban Development (Sedur), will be exclusive to candidates on the state network who will then be able to reach the test locations with ease and agility.

In Bahia, 449,528 candidates are registered for this year’s Enem, of which 113,746 are students from the state network. To board metro transport without paying the fare, the 70,460 students must go to the exclusive turnstile at the metro station and present proof of registration and photo ID to the concessionaire employee.

The greatest flow should occur from two hours before the gates open and up to two hours after the end of the exam, highlighting that the benefit does not extend to integration with buses.
