Sisters are victims of feminicide in Teixeira de Freitas

Two women were killed late this Monday afternoon (21) in Teixeira de Freitas, in the extreme south of Bahia. According to information obtained by TV Bahia from the Civil Police (PC), the suspect is the ex-husband of one of the victims, who are sisters. The crime would have occurred after a discussion about the division of assets.
Also according to TV Bahia, the case happened at 5:30 pm when the suspect entered a motorcycle store located on Avenida Presidente Getúlio Vargas and shot the sisters. He fled after the crime, but was captured in Posto da Mata, in the Nova Viçosa region while heading to Espírito Santo.
The bodies of the victims were taken to the Legal Medical Institute (IML) of Teixeira de Freitas. Sought by CORREIO, the PC informed that the case is still in the registration process.
