See what shopping malls are scheduled for Halloween

Establishments will offer free activities for children starting this Saturday (26)

Halloween is coming, and several establishments have special programs for the celebratory date. From October 26th to November 2nd, children will have activities related to Halloween.

CORREIO prepared a survey of Halloween events in the city’s shopping malls, to integrate families’ weekend programming. Check it out below:

Bahia Shopping

Shopping da Bahia will have Halloween programs from October 25th to November 2nd. This Friday (25th), the Hotel Drácula, from the Galeries Montparnasses, in Paris, arrives in Salvador. The attraction is an immersion made with the Metaverse in an area of ​​250m², carried out using virtual reality technologies.

At Hotel Dracula, participants enter a haunted castle and experience the place’s scares. The activity will be available at the mall until December 22nd, running from Monday to Friday, from 2pm to 10pm, on Saturdays, from 10am to 10pm, and on Sundays and holidays, from 12pm to 9pm.

To enter Hotel Dracula, you need to buy a ticket for R$40 at project website or at the attraction’s ticket office, which is on the 2nd floor next to Le Biscuit and Agromix.

Next Wednesday (30), Halloween Planeta Criança will be held, from 5pm to 9pm. The place will offer a themed buffet with all-you-can-eat pizza, brigadeiro and chocolate cake, a children’s nightclub with neon rays, a professional makeup artist, themed decoration and Uncle Van Van’s entertainment. To participate, you must purchase a ticket for R$160.

On Halloween day, October 31st (Thursday), a parade will be held, with characters parading through the mall from 3pm.

On Friday (01), Fire Halloween will take place, from 6pm to 10pm, on the 4th floor of the mall. The event will have food and drink available for its participants, who will be able to enjoy a gamer arena with themed games at the Fire Store. A guest DJ and dance groups will also be present, in addition to a best costume contest and R$1,000 in prizes.

Finally, on Saturday (02), Halloween Planeta Imaginário will take place from 3pm to 6pm. The event includes themed artistic painting, a themed workshop, a candy bag workshop, a horror parade, a best costume contest with prizes, snacks and a night out, with tickets starting at R$109.

Salvador Shopping

At Salvador Shopping, “Blue Halloween” will be held, aimed at people with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD), this Saturday (26). On the occasion, the Silent Hour will be held, with music made for the neurodivergent public.

The music will be performed by the band Pipoca Bacana, in a decorated setting where sweets will be distributed between 9am and 10am. To participate, free of charge, you must register via the shopping app, available for Android and IOS.

The mall will also have a special action for people with ASD at the cinema, at 11am. Cinemark will hold a Blue Ticket session, with rooms adapted for neurodivergent people to watch the film Wild Robot.

Customers with ASD and guardians pay half price, and tickets can be purchased online through the mall’s channels or in person at the Cinemark box office, on the L3 floor.

On Sunday (27), Salvador will hold “Halloween Kids Mystery and Magic” on the L1 floor, starting at 9am. At the event, the band Pé de Lata will perform an exclusive and free show for children, according to registrations made through the mall’s app.

Parallel Mall

The Shopping Paralela program will take place at YouPlay Clube, this Saturday (26). At the playground, located on the L2 floor, children will participate in a costume parade, a candy hunt and various games, between 4pm and 7pm.

In addition, it will also be possible to play with a ball pool, toys, gamer stations, veterinary clinic, workshop, mini-market, arts and a dressing room for hand and face painting present in the park. Throughout the event, entertainers will be present, playing with the participating children.

Another special Paralela action takes place at the Coco Bambu restaurant, where on October 31st, and on weekends until November 2nd, children who are dressed up have free access to the toy library. The children’s space has a Playstation 5, bounce house, slide, table for artistic activities and monitors.

Shopping Paseo

Paseo Halloween will be completely free, will include children and pets, and will take place on Saturday, November 2nd. At the event, dogs and cats will be able to paint and style their hair from 10am, while children will have activities with a marching band, candy hunt and animated characters at 3pm.

The Halloween Parade will be supported by Semeve Pet Shop, and will include a candy hunt to the sound of brass bands for children. Along the way, participants will travel with the characters across both floors of the shopping mall.

On the roof of the mall, the escalator will be transformed into a tunnel of fear, decorated for Halloween-inspired photos.

Shopping Itaigara

At Shopping Itaigara, the Halloween action will be free and will start at 4pm, with a hunt for sweets and costumed characters, next Saturday (26). The event will start at the Brinkarr store, on the 2nd floor.

From there, the characters will go out to tour the three floors of the shopping mall, distributing balloons and hunting for sweets until 6pm, when they will end the tour at the A Gomes store, on the ground floor.

Parque Shopping Bahia

Parque Shopping Bahia will hold the free “Halloween in the Park” event, with games and a costume parade this Saturday (26). The programs will take place at the Food Court (L3), starting at 2pm.

The first activity will be a puppet show, followed by a magic show and dance class at 3pm. At around 4pm, children will participate in the “Witch Challenge”, which precedes the costume parade at 4:40 pm. The event ends with a music show, and the announcement of the results of the parade’s winning costume.

Shopping Center Lapa

Center Lapa will host a candy hunt this Saturday (26th), from 2pm to 5pm. At the event, children will explore the shopping mall’s stores, divided into groups that will go hunting at 2pm, 3pm and 4pm, lasting one hour for each activity.

The hunt will take place at Lapa Kids, on the L3 floor, next to Loja Vivo, and receives registration via Sympla link. Places are free, but limited, and can be reserved from October 24th.

The mall will also hold a premiere screening of the horror film “SORRIA 2”, showing from the 24th, daily at 6:30 pm, at Cine Imperial.
