The plane that crashed in São Paulo on Wednesday night (23) had Salvador as its final destination. The aircraft took off from Florianópolis (SC) and was heading towards Belo Horizonte (MG) for fuel. Afterwards, the flight would continue to the capital of Bahia. Five people were on the trip and all died.
The victims were employees of the Bahian company Abaeté Aviação, responsible for the operation. They were a commander, pilot, doctor, nurse and mechanic. Four people have already had their names released, according to information from TV Bahia. They are: commander Jefferson Rodrigues Ferreira, 36 years old, resident of Guanambi, co-pilot Dulcival da Conceição Santos, doctor Sylvia Rausch Barreto, 31, and Joseilton Borges, these three lived in Salvador. The nurse’s identity has not yet been released.
According to information from local authorities, the aircraft was found, but without survivors. “The company is welcoming families and offering all the necessary support in this moment of pain”, he says, in a note.
The cause of the accident is still unknown.
