The Regional Prosecutor’s Office of Senhor do Bonfim will operate at the headquarters, with access for prosecutors, civil servants and citizens seeking assistance.

The Public Ministry of the State of Bahia (MPBA) inaugurated this Tuesday (22), at 5 pm, a new headquarters for the Regional Prosecutor’s Office of Senhor do Bonfim, located on Rua Jardim Aeroporto.

The ceremony was attended by Attorney General Pedro Maia and the participation of local authorities.

The project is part of the MPBA’s modernization plan, aligned with the 2024-2031 Strategic Plan, which aims to improve the institution’s physical infrastructure throughout the state. The Regional Prosecutor’s Office of Senhor do Bonfim also covers the municipalities of Andorinha, Antônio Gonçalves, Campo Formoso, Philadelphia, Itiúba, Jaguarari and Pindobaçu. Seven prosecutors and nine civil servants work in the region.

The new headquarters has an area of ​​1,611.83 m², with 949.57 m² of construction distributed over two floors, accessible to promoters, employees and citizens seeking assistance. The structure includes service rooms, spaces for audiences, common areas and a cafeteria on the ground floor, as well as offices and meeting rooms on the upper floor.

The unit also has adapted toilets for greater accessibility and reserved spaces for the elderly and people with disabilities.
