Operation Angerona, carried out by the Secretariat of Penitentiary Administration and Resocialization (Seap), searched 165 cells in six pavilions in the Feira de Santana Penal Complex, which is the largest in Bahia, in two days. This Tuesday (22), the women’s unit of the penitentiary was the target of police action.

Launched on the morning of this Monday (21), Operation Angerona aims to prevent communication between inmates and criminals on the outside of the penal complex.
