OAB-BA elections: 54 candidates compete for the next three years

Scheduled for the 18th, the election of the Brazilian Bar Association, Bahia section (OAB-BA), has 54 candidates, according to the notice published this Monday, 21st, in the OAB-BA Electronic Gazette. Lawyers registered with the entity will choose, from 9 am to 5 pm, sectional and federal advisors for Bahia and directors of all subsections of the state for the three-year period 2025/2027.

Two teams compete at the sectional level. “União Pela Advocacia” has 86 subscribers, with the board made up of the president Daniela de Andrade Borges, and the vice-president, and Hermes Hilarião Teixeira Neto. The “Muda OAB” ticket has 52 members, with the board formed by president Ana Patrícia Dantas Leão, and vice-president Ivan Jezler Costa Júnior.

The remaining 52 tickets compete in the sphere of 37 subsections. The list of all and those registered is on the website http://eleicoes2024.oab-ba.org.br. Voting is mandatory for all lawyers registered in the section, who must be in compliance with the payment of annual fees. Voting will take place in Salvador, in the Tent on Floor L3 of Shopping da Bahia, and in 49 other locations spread across the OAB-BA subsections throughout the state.
