Re-elected on Sunday night (27), Ricardo Nunes (MDB) made his first speech after the victory, highlighting the support of governor Tarcísio de Freitas (Republicans). “I thank the greatest leader, without whom this victory would not be possible”, he stressed. Nunes was elected with 59% of the votes, compared to 40% for Guilherme Boulos (Psol).
The head of the municipal Executive also thanked his wife, Regina Carnovale Nunes, and said that she “suffered enormous harm in the campaign”.
“Thank you to each one of you, thank you very much, I am very moved. I will try to leave an important message. I want to thank, from the bottom of my heart, with eternal gratitude to the people of the city, who I love. Thank you, São Paulo. I am sure that the next four years will be the best in the city”, he promised.
Boulos wants Tarcísio ineligible and Nunes’ ticket revoked
The federal deputy and candidate for mayor of São Paulo for the PSOL, Guilherme Boulos, went to court this Sunday to ask for the ineligibility of the governor of São Paulo, Tarcísio de Freitas (Republicans), for stating that the First Command of the Capital (PCC) determined the vote in the psolist.
Tarcísio did not present evidence or delve deeper into the matter. There is also a request to revoke the candidacy registration or diploma of Ricardo Nunes (MDB) and Ricardo de Mello Araújo (PL), for allegedly benefiting from the statements made by the head of Palácio dos Bandeirantes.
