New lawsuits are being filed against American rapper and producer Sean Combs, better known as P. Diddy, including an allegation that he drugged and raped a 13-year-old girl, accompanied by two unidentified celebrities.
Tony Buzbee’s law firm Buzbee Law Firm, which represents the victims, filed five new lawsuits on Sunday night, the 20th, in New York. Two other lawsuits were opened in Las Vegas and Los Angeles.
In one of the processes, obtained by Variety, the crime reported by the woman would have occurred on September 7, 2000, when she was trying to get a ticket to attend the Video Music Awards (VMA), an MTV awards show. Unsuccessfully, she approached several limousine drivers after the event, in an attempt to get an invitation to a party. One of the drivers, who allegedly worked for Combs, took the young woman to a party, where she signed a confidentiality agreement and accepted a drink.
After drinking the drink, she reports that she “started to feel dizzy” and went to an empty room to lie down. Shortly thereafter, Combs allegedly entered the room, accompanied by an unidentified “male and female celebrity.” She alleges that she was raped by the male celebrity while the female celebrity watched; and was later abused by Combs while the other two watched.
The lawsuit alleges that following the crime, the victim “fell into a deep depression that continues to affect every facet of her life.”
The music mogul was arrested on September 16, accused of sex trafficking and extortion, among other crimes. Combs has pleaded not guilty, and continues to deny all allegations. The rapper awaits trial, scheduled for May 5, 2025, in a detention center in New York. Bail was denied.
Since the moment he was arrested, new waves of lawsuits against Combs have been emerging. Earlier this month, it was announced that Diddy would have to deal with lawsuits from more than 120 accusers. Tony Buzbee, the victims’ lawyer, told the press that men and women have accused the musician of sexual crimes since 1991; some involve minors.
Shortly afterwards, on the 14th, six new accusations of abuse dating back to the mid-1990s came to light, including the alleged sexual abuse of a boy who was 16 years old at the time.
Buzbee also said that several companies and other big names in the North American entertainment industry knew about the rapper’s crimes, but that they profited by saying nothing. This also appears in the process reports.
In the 2000s, Diddy was known for hosting parties attended by celebrities and powerful industry figures. Among these events were the so-called ‘freak-offs’, fueled by alcohol and drugs, which lasted for days in luxury hotels. The American government has described such parties as “sexual marathons.”
