Defeated in the first round of the São Paulo election, former coach Pablo Marçal (PRTB) resurfaced this Wednesday (23) to propose a hearing with the candidates for Mayor of São Paulo Ricardo Nunes (MDB) and Guilherme Boulos (PSOL).

In a post on social media, Marçal said that the meeting would be to ask what the people want to know about the candidates for the most important position in the capital of São Paulo. “Here on my channel, no cuteness, no differentiation,” said the third-place finisher in this year’s competition. The idea is to hold the meetings on Thursday and Friday.

Shortly afterwards, Boulos commented on the publication saying he agreed with the meeting. “I agree, I’ve never run away from talking to anyone. Will Mayor Ricardo Nunes agree or will he run away?”, commented the psolista with a provocation. Nunes’ campaign did not comment on the matter.

Nunes’ deputy, however, also reacted to Marçal. Colonel Mello Araújo (PL) provoked the former coach. “Are you unemployed? Looking for a job as a journalist? Are you going to finish your work in Africa,” he wrote. Marçal replied: “Are you scared, coroné? Confronting with a weapon is easy, let’s go (sic) with the argument”, he said.

Marçal decided on neutrality in the second round. He stated that he would only agree to support Ricardo Nunes if there was an apology from the current mayor, in addition to Silas Malafaia, Jair Bolsonaro, Tarcísio de Freitas and Eduardo Bolsonaro.
