A man was found on Amaralina Beach, in Salvador, this Sunday morning (27). Civil Police initially determine the cause of death as drowning.

In a statement, the Civil Police said that the 28th Territorial Police Station of the Northeast of Amaralina recorded the “occurrence of death to be clarified without signs of crime”. “According to the report, the police unit was called to find the body of an unidentified man on Amaralina beach, suspected of drowning.”

Also according to the PC, “guides for the work of the Technical Police Department (DPT) were issued and the case will be investigated.”

According to people, the body was removed from the sea by firefighters, close to the Monumento das Baianas. The report contacted the Fire Department to obtain more details of the incident, but so far there are no answers.
