The military seized a 38 caliber revolver from the suspect.

A man died after a confrontation with the Military Police (PM) in Feira de Santana this Tuesday (22). The suspect, identified as Fabrício de Jesus Vitória, aged 27, was injured during an exchange of gunfire with police officers. He was taken to medical care at the Clériston Andrade General Hospital, but he did not survive.

According to the PM, agents from the 66th Independent Company were patrolling the Campo do Gado Novo neighborhood, when they spotted a group of armed men. Upon realizing the presence of the police, they began shooting. Fabrício was injured and, even though he was rescued, he did not resist. With him, the military seized a 38 caliber revolver. The case was registered by the Feira de Santana Homicide Police Station.
