A man has been arrested on suspicion of raping a child. The preventive arrest was carried out this Thursday (23), in the Vila Nova neighborhood, in Bom Jesus da Lapa, located in the São-Franciscano Valley of Bahia.
According to information provided by the Civil Police, the 36-year-old man was suspected of the crime of rape of a vulnerable person, which had occurred in September of this year. The court order was issued by the District of Bom Jesus da Lapa.
“Other information will not be disclosed in compliance with the Child and Adolescent Statute (ECA), with regard to the exposure of minors under 18 and the secrecy of processes related to crimes against sexual dignity”, said the PC in a note.
