People tried to lynch the boy

A man and a teenager suffered an accident after stealing a motorcycle. The case happened around 9pm this Saturday (26), on Avenida Suburbana, near the Lobato neighborhood.

During the action, the population tried to lynch the teenager, but the Municipal Civil Guard (GCM) of Salvador was called and arrived at the scene. The boy was taken to the State General Hospital to receive medical care.

The other person involved in the action, a man, was injured in the accident and was lying on the ground, receiving care from the Mobile Emergency Care Service (Samu). He was also taken to HGE. Both were taken into custody by the Civil Police for the necessary legal procedures.

The motorcycle used by the duo had been stolen and was recognized by the owner, who gave a statement to the police. The item was passed on to the Theft and Vehicle Theft Police Station for investigations.
