The candidate for mayor of Luiz Caetano (PT) voted this Sunday morning (27) accompanied by governor Jerônimo Rodrigues (PT), at Colégio Municipal São Tomaz de Cantuária.

The candidate said he was confident of victory. In the first round, he obtained 49.52% of the valid votes, against 49.17% for his opponent Flávio Matos (União Brasil).

At the scene, Caetano said he was confident in a positive result. “We enter this election, today on October 27th, with the certainty that we are going to give this gift to Camaçari and President Lula”, he said, referring to the President of the Republic’s 79th birthday, celebrated today.
