The new hit by Salvador Carnival’s new singer, Larissa Marques, is now on the radio. Original song recorded alongside Thiago Aquino, also from Bahia, “Água Salgada” is the first track released from the singer’s new album. This year, Larissa will also launch the project “In every corner of the city”, in honor of the capital of Bahia.
The song mixes the beat of Bahian music with the feel of arrocha and sofrência. It is the first time that the two artists have collaborated and the song is already appearing as a candidate for song of the summer.
“This is the first hit from the album we are releasing alongside Oxente Business and we had this great gift, the participation of Thiago Aquino, of whom I am a big fan. He has a lot of Salvador’s style, of our city’s musical diversity. Sharing Água Salgada with him was an honor. It made me very happy”, says Larissa.
Later this week, the song will be released on the main digital platforms.
Audiovisual project will promote the beauties of Salvador
Musical project launched for next summer, “In each corner of the city” is an audiovisual recorded in various parts of the capital of Bahia, exalting the natural beauty, art and local culture.
The initiative will show different points of Brazil’s first capital, highlighting its diversity and cultural richness. According to Larissa, the intention is to pay homage to the city that “welcomed her with open arms”.
“I want the whole world to be able to get to know this city that is wonderful in every way through our recordings”, he adds.
