Influencer Vinícius de Oliveira Santos, known as Boca de 09, released a video on his social networks showing a police approach. “I took my first job with the Bahian police,” he wrote. The video went viral and already has more than 13 thousand comments.

The setting is Rua Araponga, in the Pintagueiras neighborhood, in the city of the Metropolitan Region (RMS), at around 1:30 am. A military police officer is heard saying that he has already memorized the faces of everyone approached and the BMW’s license plate. A vehicle from the 52nd Independent Military Police Company (52nd CIPM/Lauro de Freitas) appears in the background.

“I don’t know who you are, where you came from, if you’re someone’s friend… I’m not sure… I want it to be clear that here in my area I don’t want to know who is famous, known to someone, known to misfortune “, says the PM. “If I approach you, will I encounter some misfortune that I shouldn’t?”

At another point, he tells someone to look ahead and says that if they do this again they will “record a beautiful video for Instagram”. “It’s going to be the best video you’ll ever have, with the highest number of views. But you’ll be at the police station. If you’re thinking that life is the misfortune of your Instagram, you’ll see another version that I’m going to show you. Got it, damn?” he asks.

Boca de 09 seems to have had fun with the episode. “Very funny,” he wrote in the caption. In the video, someone is heard laughing and the PM asks: “Are you laughing?” In the comments, comedian Cristian Bell commented. “It was agreed, I already know it.”

In a statement, the PM says that it became aware of the video through social media and ordered the immediate opening of an investigation to determine the circumstances of what happened.

“We reiterate that the conduct shown in the video does not correspond to the procedures guided by the corporation. Since their formation, military police officers have been trained to act in the defense of society and the preservation of public order, always using appropriate techniques and absolute respect for rights of the citizen”, says the text.
