Health center suspends activities after shooting on Avenida Suburbana

The Antonio Lazzarotto Family Health Unit suspended services on Monday afternoon (21). According to the Municipal Health Department, the reason for the closure it was the shooting on Avenida Afrânio Peixotoknown as Suburbana.
In a statement, the department stated that the decision was taken to guarantee the safety of patients and employees. “Service will be reestablished when the situation related to public safety is normalized in the region,” he stated.
When contacted, the Military Police (PM) did not take a position on the closure of the unit. The Mobility Secretariat reported that, despite the incident, the area where the shooting occurred remained with normal public circulation.
