Foundation opens applications for scholarships at Harvard and Johns Hopkins University

The Maria Emília Foundation, a private, non-profit social investor, based in Salvador, has two open selection processes for scholarships for master’s degrees in Public Health at the North American universities of Harvard and Johns Hopkins University.
At the Harvard TH Chan School of Public Health in Boston, up to four 50% scholarships will be awarded, plus financial aid. At the prestigious school, the Master of Public Health (MPH) program empowers students to make a difference in communities around the world by identifying and addressing key issues affecting health, as well as planning and leading projects aimed at improving quality of life in different contexts, including in regions with limited resources.
At Johns Hopkins University, in Baltimore, a world reference in teaching and research in the area of public health, up to five full scholarships will be awarded, plus stipends, to those seeking to transform public health in Brazil.
Both programs prepare students to become public health leaders capable of addressing current global health issuesthrough multidisciplinary approaches and practical applications in local community projects.
Registration for both selection processes is open. To apply for scholarships, the first step is to receive the acceptance letter from the institutions. More information on how to proceed with registration can be found in the foundation website.
