Rondesp police officers were patrolling the area when they found an armed group trafficking. Noticing the police officers approaching, the men shot and fled, says the PM. While escaping, they entered a residence and took a resident hostage.

The police began negotiating and the three suspects ended up releasing the victim and handing themselves over. With the trio, a 9mm cal pistol with charger, 92 marijuana tablets, 59 bags containing the same substance, 36 cocaine pins, 66 crack rocks and five cell phones were seized.
