Flames hit cars in the early hours of Tuesday (29)

A fire completely destroyed four cars in a workshop on Rua Vila Dois Irmãos, on Estrada das Barreiras, in the early hours of Tuesday (29), in Salvador. According to residents, the flames started around midnight in one of the vehicles and spread to the others, frightening neighbors in houses close to the incident.

The Fire Department was called to put out the flames, but only arrived at 1:30 am. Due to the fire, all four vehicles that were parked in the workshop ended up completely destroyed. The owner of one of them, an Amarok, arrived desperate at the scene, but did not record interviews. When questioned, residents stated that they did not know the origin of the fire.

The owner of the workshop reported that the place worked with purchase and sale vehicles. According to him, who did not want to record interviews, there is a suspicion that the fire was arson and the case has already been registered at the police station. Around the cars, there are bottles that, according to the owner, are remnants of a Molotov cocktail that could have started the crime.
