Appearance-conscious tourists have noticed that Disney park bathrooms don’t have mirrors above the sinks. The choice of decoration can cause confusion, but, according to the Uol portal, there is a logic behind it. One of the main challenges – and not at all magical – in Disney parks are the long linesincluding to use the bathrooms. The absence of mirrors is a strategy to minimize this problem.

The explanation is simple: when someone comes across a mirror, they usually tend to spend a few seconds, or even minutes, on the “fit check”, which contributes to the increase in queues outside. Therefore, without mirrors, people tend to spend less time in the bathroom, improving space rotation. The only mirror available is next to the door, but usually no one stops there, as the queue takes up that space.
