Eunápolis, Feira de Santana and Guanambi have lots

Anyone who wants to buy a car this year can take advantage of the opportunities that Detran-BA offers to the population. The agency has two open auctions containing preserved vehicles and usable scrap metal. In the notices, 702 lots are held in custody in 10 municipalities in the interior of Bahia.

Brumado, Eunápolis, Feira de Santana, Guanambi, Ilhéus, Jacobina, Juazeiro, Paulo Afonso, Porto Seguro and Simões Filho are the cities where the lots can be visited. The competitions take place online. Bids for Notice 22/2024 remain open until the 31st of this month.

The competition for Notice 23/2024 is available until November 1st. The entire process is done through the auctioneers’ websites Hasta Auctions e Kildare. The notices contain the addresses, dates and times that interested parties can make a preliminary visit.

Among the preserved vehicles available is a 2020 Chevrolet Onix, with an initial value of R$6,000.00, in the city of Feira de Santana. Lot 0013, a Yamaha IS1850 motorcycle, year 2022, with an opening bid of R$1,500.00, is ready for viewing in the city of Porto Seguro. In Juazeiro, a Fiat Mobi, year 2016/2017, has an initial value of R$4,000.00. Another opportunity is lot 0027, a 2014 Hyundai HB20, with an opening bid of R$4,500.00.

To prevent the interested party from becoming a victim of scams, the president of the Detran-BA Auction Commission, Júlia Sanches, recommends that “the interested party should look for the official websites of the auctioneers mentioned in this report, as they contain all the rules and information regarding the available lots and also about auctioneers.

It is worth remembering that on the Detran website, in the ‘auctions’ tab, the names, websites and license plates of the auctioneers are also listed.” Detran reinforces that the interested party’s attention is essential when downloading notices. The address of the Agency’s portal ends with the State reference ba.gov.br
