A Chilean man died after parachuting in the Boituva region, in the interior of São Paulo. According to information, the reserve parachute she was using at the time of the accident did not work during the fall.

Carolina Munõz Kennedy, 40 years old, was known as Carito. She jumped at around 5:40 pm last Saturday (26), but the reserve parachute she was using did not work, for reasons still unknown, according to testimony from one of the teachers at the parachuting school responsible for operating the jumps.

According to information from Metrópoles, the company responsible for Carolina’s flight published a note of condolence on social media, lamenting the parachutist’s death. Carito was characterized as having “an easy smile” and “an immense love for animals and human beings”.

The case was registered at the Boituva Police Station as an accidental death.
