The Angerona mega-operation, by the Secretariat of Penitentiary Administration and Resocialization of Bahia (Seap), searched the cells of 34 leaders of criminal factions. In total, around 300 cells at the Feira de Santana Penal Complex were searched by the criminal police. The action took place on Thursday morning (24).
In pavilion IX, where the majority of these leaders are held, cell phones, memory cards, telephone chips, portions of drugs and improvised bladed weapons were found. During the searches of these cells, metal detectors and other search techniques used by criminal police officers were used.

All materials will be examined to verify their relationship with sensitive targets in pavilion IX. The Angerona mega-operation counts on the work of the Public Security Security Secretariat (SSP-BA), through the Military Police, and the National Secretariat for Penal Policies (Senappen).
Angerona is coordinated by the Prison Management Superintendency (SGP), with the work of the Prison Security Directorate (DSP), the Specialized Group in Prison Operations (GEOP), the Electronic Personnel Monitoring Center (CMEP), Monitoring and Assessment of the Prison System (CMASP), Institutional Security Group (GSI).
